What type flooring products does Lee's Hardwoods offer?

Lee’s Hardwood Flooring specializes in unfinished and prefinished wood, luxury vinyl plank flooring, engineered hardwood, decorative hardwood borders, and laminate.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, please visit our 6,000 square-foot showroom displaying the widest variety of flooring options in the Triangle.

What are the benefits of using your company?

We offer a wide variety of products that cannot be found at larger retailers, our customer service is outstanding, and our floors look amazing.

Do you offer name-brand flooring products?


How quickly can installation begin?

Once the material for the job is shipped, we will call and schedule your installation.

Can I schedule a free in home estimate?

What if I have to re-schedule my sales appointment?

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, MasterCard, Visa, & Discover.

Do you offer financing?

Not at this time.

What type of warranties do you offer?

Our labor is warranted for one year from the date of completion.  Manufacturer’s warranties vary.

Service & Installation

When will my installer arrive at my home?

If the schedule is going to change we will call the day before installation and let you know when the installer will arrive at your home. Otherwise we will arrive on time for the appointment you were given when signing up.  Most installations start in the morning.

Do you move furniture?

We will move furniture for an additional charge for all product types except for sand-and-finish hardwoods.  Because the process of sanding/sealing/staining/finishing hardwoods requires all areas of hardwood to be free of furniture, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to have furniture and personal belongings relocated.

Can laminate flooring be installed in all of the rooms in my home?

Laminate floors can be installed in any room in the house, including bathrooms.  Proper installation procedures are required and can vary depending upon rooms.

Can laminate flooring be installed over my existing floor?

A feature of a floating floor is the ability to install over some existing flooring materials.  When we measure for your floors we can determine if this is an appropriate technique.

Can my hardwood floor be refinished?

Solid hardwood floors, both pre-finished and site-finished, can be refinished. Some engineered hardwoods can also be refinished but require inspection to determine this.  Laminate floors cannot be refinished.

Do you dispose of old product?

We will dispose of old flooring materials for an additional fee.  Exceptions are vinyl materials that may contain asbestos in the vinyl or the adhesives.

Care & Maintenance

What do I do if I have an issue or concern regarding my product after it has been installed?

Please call the showroom, and we will address any concerns or issues that arise.  Call us at (919)870-6176.

How do I clean my new hardwood floors?

We recommend the Bona hardwood floor cleaning product line; and we carry these products in the store.  Do not use products containing citrus oil or furniture cleaners like Murphy’s Oil Soap on your new hardwood floors.  Do not use steam cleaning systems.
