About Lee’s Hardwood Floors
Lee’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Daniel Lee, who began his career in hardwood flooring in 1980. Early in his career, Daniel traveled throughout the Southeast restoring hardwood floors in custom and historic homes and installing gymnasium flooring. His projects included work at the Dean Smith Center and North Carolina Central University.
Daniel started Lee’s Hardwood Floors with one truck and one helper, installing and refinishing hardwood floors during the day and estimating new projects at night. Over the years, the company has grown into one of the Triangle area’s trusted sources for professional hardwood floor installation, refinishing and flooring solutions.
Today, Lee’s remains a family-owned and operated company with hands-on involvement from Daniel and his wife, Tina Lee. Daniel works directly with customers on estimates, while Tina oversees day-to-day office operations, scheduling and customer service.
Our experienced flooring technicians are committed to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail on every project. Whether installing new hardwood floors, refinishing existing flooring or helping customers choose the right flooring for their home, our goal is to provide beautiful, long-lasting results.
Customers are also welcome to visit our 6,000-square-foot Raleigh showroom at 966 Trinity Road to explore hardwood flooring options, wood species, stains, finishes and styles in person.
Daniel has continued to expand his hardwood flooring expertise throughout his career and earned recognition as a Certified Hardwood Flooring Inspector through the National Wood Flooring Association. His extensive knowledge allows him to identify flooring problems, determine potential causes and help customers understand the best options for addressing their hardwood flooring concerns.

When the time comes for us to begin your project, we will outline the process from ordering materials all the way through to finishing the work. This includes scheduling details and durations of work.
